Michael leads our Cybersecurity & Privacy Risk Management service line in London.

Over the past decade, Michael has led the delivery of Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) services for advisory firms, which provide a CISO, along with cyber, privacy, and information security subject-matter experts to organisations of all sizes and verticals.

He has also supported nearly 100 firms with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance, assisting with data lifecycle identification, data mapping, compliance gap analysis, and providing policies and procedures to close the gaps and meet compliance.

Michael previously led one of the Big Four’s alternative investment cybersecurity practices, where he directed and managed engagements for banking and large financial services clients, and has over 30 years of experience in advising companies and boards of directors on technology, cybersecurity and privacy risk management strategies.
